Honda Quad ATV Dealers

Honda Quad ATV Dealer – KIK Honda Joins My Quad Bike

One of the UK’s largest and most reputable Honda Quad ATV Dealers has signed up for a long term deal with My Quad Bike. And, when asked the big question “Why?” – Keith Knowles replied; “Having seen the traffic results to our website from the My Quad Bike site, it was a complete no brainer!”

Keith, the MD of KIK Honda was one of the companies who obviously had belief in the system and allowed the My Quad Bike Team to upload some of the stock he had at the time. It was within weeks that Keith noticed the sudden traffic burst, and from that, employed a technical guy who could keep the stock movement and uploading onto the MQB site.

Having taken a big package for 10 machines, in the first couple of weeks alone this has proven to be a winner.

And it’s not just KIK who have noticed it either, as all of the dealers advertising on the site have reported great traffic, and also some cracking deals because of it. There is still time to sign up and at only £72+VAT for 3 months, why would you need to look anywhere else?

Talk to one of the guys at MyQuad Bike NOW - the longer you leave it, the less traffic you will be getting – and that’s a fact…

Quad Bike Games – iPhone Apps for iPhone and iPod Touch

November 4, 2009

Quad Bike Games and ATV Games are one of this years hot ideas for kids who have the iPod Touch – but what about the adults who have the iPhone?

There seems to be no shortage of racing games on the app store these days, and 2XL ATV Offroad’s developers, 2XL Games, Inc, have made another addition to the ever expanding collection. The game starts off with a rather impressive introduction sequence, featuring shot after shot of quad bikes performing stunts and jumps over muddy bumps, it’s hard not to be impressed with the level of production. Needless to say this sequence is not actual game footage, but its a nice little taster of what this game is about – quad bikes.

The game gives you three different modes to play. The first is the standard arcade mode, where you select your racer, bike and track. From here you take part in the race and do you best to come first. That’s about it for that mode really. The Career mode is a little bit more involved, encouraging you to take part in a league before each race. With multiplayer you can play against other friends who have the game via a local wireless network. Sadly, theres no online multiplayer. Graphically the game is as solid as an iPhone/iTouch game can get. The environment is rendered well, along with the drivers and quad bikes. Whilst there is the odd bit of clipping here and there – particularly on the edges of the screen – this sort of thing is to be expected on this format.

On the audio side of things the game does its job. The quads sound like quads and the drivers scream out in pain when you run straight into a tree. The game menu’s are accompanied by some suitable guitar rock music which wouldn’t be out of place on Eurosport or Dave TV. At times the game does stagger and brings the proceedings to a grinding halt, leaving the player waiting for it to load. This can be quite frustrating considering the game is all about speed and quick reactions. The game also suffers from its chosen control standard – tilt the iPhone/iTouch to steer your quad in that direction. The sensitivity can be amended, but it would of been nice if the developers included the option of a virtual joystick for those cack-handed gamers like myself. Having said that, 2XL ATV Offroad is a fine little title from the app store, and whilst its controls are a slight hindrance for some there is a bit of fun to be had with the game. Here’s hoping the developers release an update which will address its flaws.

Verdict: 7 out of 10

The Good Good graphics – Great attention to detail – Lots of tracks

The Bad Tilting controlsSuffers from lag occasionally

Beach Race Weston – WBRUK

October 8, 2009

Weston Beach Race – 9|10|11 October 2009

v4_160x600_v1

It’s that time again, the possibility of wet sand and lots of fumes on the South West’s Premier Beach – Weston super Mare. With more competitors this year than ever, I can see it will be one of those great events to remember – for more than one reason.

With plenty of things to do, the buzz will be fantastic – so get your wellington boots out and and go kick some sand.

Obviously, the racing will be paramount, with all of the TOP UK Riders as well as the novice and charity riders who in fact, make the whole event worth while.

Quad Bikes and ATVs are on the Saturday and Solo’s on the Sunday, making it a pretty fun packed weekend for everyone – make sure you are there, because we are.

And, to celebrate the event we have set up a competition on our site with the help of Honda Racing GB – Go to the home page at http://www.myquadbike.co.uk and click on the V4 banner on the right – and make sure you fill in your details and, once the email confirmation has been sent to you, click on the link and your entry will be submitted.

Test drive the New Honda VFR1200 V4 at a secret track – be one of the first to ride this machine!

All expenses paid, flights (so not in the UK) accommodation, meals, transfers and insurance are all included – so hop over and see what it is they are all screaming about.
